His Excellency Ambassador BA Samba Mamadou is a career diplomat, who has served in various countries as Ambassador.
Prior to his appointment to the United Kingdom, Mr. BA was posted to Sudan, United States of America and Japan.
Ambassador BA served as Director of American and Asian Affairs, and the then Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
He is recipient in 2017 of the Knight of the Order of Merit Medal.
Ambassador BA is a graduate (B.A.) in International Relations and Diplomacy at Ohio State, USA and also a holder of a B.A in Arts from the University of Nouakchott, Mauritania.
Born in July 5th 1968, He is married. He speaks English, French and Arabic.
